Hidden treasures
A regular yoga practice has many benefits. Not only does it make you mobile, flexible and strong. It also shows you patterns of movement and behaviour that are obscured in the day to day.
Yoga provides a safe space to explore and be who you are.
I feel so much care and benevolence in the yoga realm. I feel encouraged and supported to walk my own path with patience, care and virtue.
I encounter on the mat many of the challenges, joys and opportunities I know from my daily life.
With yoga I learn an practice to find ways to deal with all of it, accept, change, breathe, let go…
To be kind to myself.
Yoga, pranayama and meditation are teaching me to take one step at a time.
In yoga we practice patience and equanimity.
It shows me how detrimental it is to compare myself to others and to myself.
It shows me the healing effects of being with myself, being here and now.
